He stresses the importance of hearing and speaking the gospel, that we might have transformed lives. Phil Wheeler looks at how this applies to small groups, how we view them and thus who should be leading them.

Hartley and Bucknall explore resilience and burnout in ministry. They detail the issues facing those in Christian ministry. Bucknell debucks some myths around resilience. She shows that we all develop strategies for dealing with stress. She shows that we do best when we have both high demand and high resources. Bucknell then explores building resources including the importance of getting enough sleep, exercise, a healthy diet, and relaxation. She then stresses the importance of thankfulness and prayer. Bucknell explores the resources and demands in relationships.

Thompson speaks on how hard it is for believers to come to agreement on divorce, and that we have not been gracious towards divorcees. He shows that God's design is for marriage, and it's implication for relationships. Thompson explores divorce in the ancient world. He expounds various passages relating to marriage and divorce.

Ben speaks on being normal in ministry. Emma provides her background. She explores her various ministry roles, and the ways she has been encouraged. Unidentified speaker shares his experiences of working in mixed staff teams. Clarke shares how she has been encouraged to persue ministry, and how she encourages others, particularly as a ministry wife.

Leslie explores what the Bible says about man being made in the image of God. He explores the ways other ancient societies saw their kings as images of their gods, and made statues images of their gods. Leslie then details Genesis 1 and 2, and compares this to imagery throughout the rest of the Bible. Leslie argues that we should be striving to live out God's image, but instead we strive to live out our sin. He explores whether we are completely in the image of God post-fall.

Panel looks at applying the same principles in different settings, where different churches have different resources. Panel looks at some of the questions often raised by youth, where they come from and how to address these questions. They share their experiences in running youth group, including structures.

Tong looks at Luke's technique of pairing a male and female charcter along side each other in the gospel. He details the forgiving of the sinful woman at Simon's house in Luke 7, and the giving of the poor widow. Tong looks at the lead up to the crucificion, including the two groups following him of both men and women. Tong speaks on the female witnesses to the resurrection.

Tong looks at the feminist critiques of Luke. He explores some of the female characters in Luke, and how these echo female characters of the Old Testament. Tong explores the variety of people who are excited by the coming of Christ, and how Mary's devotion is seen in the text. He then contrasts this to some of the critiques to show why the critiques, especially the idea of ignoring the infancy narrative, is a dangerous idea.
