1 Peter

Jensen speaks on complacency and self-satisfaction from 1 Peter 4:1-6. He looks at this in the context of suffering, both of the readers and of Christ. Jensen looks at the spiritual warfare of believers, in order to challenge complacency. Jensen focuses on what it meant to by 'he who has suffered in his body is done with sin'. He looks at the comparison of death with the body with the death of the believer. Jensen shows that we are waiting for the completion of the victory over sin when we go to heaven. Jensen then looks at the practical consequences for this life. Sermon given at St Matthias church
