He shows that Jesus has fulfilled the law, and also how superficial the scribes and Pharisees treat the law by trivialising the command not to murder. He urges the audience to be reconciled with one another.

Thompson speaks on the parable of the weeds and the grain from Matthew 13:24-43. He explores why people still refuse the gospel, and why there is still wickedness. Thompson stresses that the gospel will have an impact even when we don't realise it, but that we need to hear that the wheat and the weeds grow together and we are not the ones to condemn the weeds., Delivered during the 2020 covid pandemic.

Thompson speaks on the uprising in Hong Kong. He speaks against the slaughter of the innocence here, and the culture of death in Australia with the legalisation of late-term abortion. Thompson stresses that we need to remember that Jesus is our only hope, and that Jesus has authority from Matthew 8:23-34. Thompson shows that there is a moment of decision, as seen in the response from those who heard of the healing of the possessed man.

Thompson speaks on the choice of the narrow gate from Matthew 7:13-29. He warns against false teachers who lead towards the broad gate. Thompson warns against false confessions and stresses that saying but not doing is dangerous. He looks at the choices that we, as individuals need to make, especially the danger of hearing and not doing.

Thompson speaks on our sinfulness, and that this is the problem of the world from Matthew 9:35-10:7. He looks at the balance betweeen being inward and outward looking when we are concerned for the lost. Thompson highlights that the word for 'worker' is an ordinary word, and thus applies to all of us.
