Watson argues that the need of the church is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. He makes some observations of the mainstream churches. He then examines how we can know this renewal. Watson speaks on the breakdown of relationships and the sense of meaninglessness in the world. He looks at how different Jesus being the Prince of Peace and bringing peace is. Watson looks at the reasons we have for knowing that God loves us : 1. Jesus went to all different types of people that Jesus went to, stating that the same message was the same for all of them, because the same problem of the need for a new heart is the same for all of us. 2. We also know that Jesus cares because he has bought us by his blood. 3. The temple curtain was torn in two from top to bottom 4. The barrier between man and man has been removed Watson challenges the audience to consider if they know Christ personally.
