All speakers explore a policy on liquor. First Speaker speaks on the effects of the Royal Commission into alcohol. Speaker stresses that Christians should care about the rise of liquor and it's effects on the western world. He argues against Sunday trading for liquor stores. Cook speaks on the distruction of alcoholism on man. He critiques the advertisments for alcohol. Cook looks at correlation between alcohol and negative consequences for society. He calls for restrictions on alcohol. Walker looks at the effects of Temperance rallies. He examines the reduction of the temperance movement. Walker shows that alcoholism crosses class and gender boundaries.
