Foord speaks on Galatians 5. He examines our the things that we desire, and that we try to avoid pain. He shows that Jesus came to save us from being enslaved to desire/flesh. Dudley speaks on Philippians 3. He stresses the importance of being a believer who grows in maturity. Dudley gives some modern versions of the issues facing the Philippians, including a lack of relationship with Christ and complacency. He shows that it is God who makes the first move in someone coming to Christ. Dudley explains what growing in maturity is like, including the need for sacrifice and committment, and the importance of standing against the world.
