Informs Sir John Coleridge that Bishop Broughton is sending him a copy of a letter sent also to Sir George Gipps, on the subject of the subdivision of his bishopric. Also requests Sir John to pass on to his brother Edward, Broughton's thanks for sending him some books from the library of Archdeacon Bailey.

Reports an financial matters including news that he is transferring his affairs from the Bank of Australia to another bank and that he intends to send Boydell some money.

Informs Boydell of his proposed visit and hopes to give a service in the church.

Writes concerning the affairs of Boydell's farm and finance. Advises on personal and family matters. Writes concerning Boydell's proposed meeting with W. Spence.

Reminds Boydell that he should prepare a summary of his property and advises on the headings it should be arranged under.
