Dane speaks on Luke 14:18, and the final Sabbath before he entered Jerusaleum, including the discussion with the rich young ruler and the parable of the Great Dinner. From here he looks at reasons that people give for refusing the call of God - either to enter the Kingdom or to serve the cause of the Kingdom. Dane challenges the audience to consider what the divine invitation is that has been made to all believers, that we make excuses for. He shows that there are areas that it is right to be concerned about, the issue is when this takes the place of God. Dane argues that we should not count the cost, but instead should come at all costs., "1970 Summer School Tape 6 Track 1 : The Rev. Dr R. A. Cole 'Pray for us' Track 2 : The Rt Rev. A. J.
