Jensen speaks on boasting from 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5. He looks at the trap of putting our faith in the things that we boast in. Jensen examines the gifts that the early church boasted in, and how Paul argues against these. He looks at what the first century people were looking for, and how Paul was different. Jensen explores how crucifixion was perceived, and thus the significance of Jesus being crucified as the strongest attack on the world's perception of power.
