He then expounds the book chapter by chapter. lWebb starts with the major theme - the reversal of Naiomi's position. Webb then looks at the importance of the names in Ruth, and why they are used. He examines Ruth's actions in contrast to Orpha, and Boaz's actions in caring for Ruth and Naiomi. Webb shows that God has delivered both women, including in the birth of Obed. Webb speaks on the book of Ruth within the canon of the Old Testament, and within the Old Testament law. Talk is followed by questions.
