Ashton speaks on the importance of speech and the use of the tongue. He looks at James' attitude to the tongue, including both as individuals and as a church body. Ashton explores the power of the tongue, and the importance of preaching the Bible faithfully and properly. He looks at the relationship between the clergy and the congregation and the effect of this on preaching. Ashton shows that God can tame the tongue as he changes our hearts. He shows that the meekness of wisdom enables the tongue to be tamed. Ashton shows that we can not share the gospel unless we are committed to being a certain sort of person - not self-advertising. He shows that we all need to change, and that we need one another in order for this to happen.
