Bray speaks on the importance of knowing history, especially why this was important for Ancient Israel.He reminds his listeners that the people they are going to serve are the people of God, and the various challenges that they need to be willing to face.

Thompson speaks on responding to persecution from Romans 12:14-21. 1. Responding to hatred with humble gentleness 2. Responding to hatred with confidence in God's judgment 3. Responding to hated with a generous heart. Tooher speaks on humility, including finding things to be thankful for, and confessing our sins. She suggests that we be ready to accept humiliation.

Jensen speaks on the West African revival, and the need for a similar revival in the West. He highlights that it is right for God to be angry with our sin, and explores this in Judges 10. Jensen stresses the need for our repentence in the west.

Thompson speaks on Philippians 1:27-2:23. He explores unity and having the one mind amongst believers. Thompson speaks on fearless proclamation of the gospel, but reminds them that suffering is part of the Christian life.
