Woodhouse speaks on our motivation for preaching from Colossians 2:1-5. He looks at how God grows mature believers. Woodhouse looks at Paul's motive for people to know about his struggles. He reminds them of the work, the danger of the work, and the joy of the work.

Jeremiah looks at the connection between the Old and New Testaments, and that the Old Testament is still relevant to the present. He looks at the job of the prophet and priest to teach the word of God, and thus what happens when they are godless. Jensen looks at the warning given to the unfaithful teachers. Jensen then compares this to a present context, including deceptive teachers who do not live as God's people.
