Colossians

Jensen speaks on Colossians 2:6-7 and speaks directly to the exiting students. He speaks on the need to be grounded in the Word of God if we are going to share it across the world and to the next generation. Jensen stresses that we have placed ourselves under Christ as Lord, and as Lord of your life. He looks at what God has done to enable this to happen. He shows that thankfulness is the appropriate response to salvation.

Jensen speaks at the 1990 end of year communion service on Colossians 1:9-14. He looks at Paul's prayers, especially for what he prays for those who have come to Christ through Epaphras. Jensen addresses graduates directly. 1. Our lives should be worthy of the Lord we serve 2. Our lives should be fully pleasing to the Lord 3. Our lives should be increasing in our knowledge and love of God 4. Share in the inheritance of the saints in light, which is only available through prayer 5. The need for endurance and patience, as we might be led into persecution and difficulty.
