Jensen speaks on 1 Peter 2:21-25. He explores the patience that believers need to have because we, like Christ, will suffer for trusting Jesus. Jensen looks at what it means for Jesus to suffer, including the historicity of the event, as well as the power of Christ's death to save. Sermon given at College Chapel

Jensen speaks on Hebrews 13 He looks at how to grow in God - that is, to live a Christian life. He looks at the consistent idea that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jensen shows that this is what those who brought the gospel were teaching. He shows that grace of God is the only way to grow in God. Prayer and the taking of the Lord's Supper is also recorded. Jensen looks at the importance of imitating those who brought the gospel to us, and ultimately imitating Jesus. Jensen shows that we can trust absolutely, because he has saved us and has sat down at the right hand of God

Jensen speaks on John 15 at the opening service. Jensen looks at the role of prayer in Christian ministry. He looks at the imagery of the vine and the branches, and the warning against the branches. Jensen shows that we are sustained between by the Lord Jesus Christ, and not by morality. He must be working in our lives. The conditions are : 1. We must abide in Christ - to trust Jesus, and to seek from his hand the fruit we should be growing. 2. God's word must abide in us Obedience must be worked out in love, especially towards other believers. We all need to pray in and about ministry

Jensen speaks on Proverbs 29:7. He looks at the rights of the poor, and that these are known to the righteous man. Jensen looks at the challenges of greed and wealth, and how we use our disposable income. He also looks at related passages.

Peterson looks at the roles and responsibilities that can be placed on pastors. He looks at the pattern(s) presented in the New Testament, especially from Titus. Peterson explores the apostolic ministry, showing that it is both evangelistic and supernatural. He looks at the things that need to be relearned in order to understand the gospel, including works righteousness. Peterson looks at Paul's message.

Peterson examines what Titus teaches about church leadership, and that this should be shared. He examines the role, importance and expectations of elders. Peterson looks at the characteristics expected of church leaders.

Peterson looks at the characteristics of, and how to address, false teachers from Titus 1. 1. The character of false teachers 2. Things that attract false teachers and attract people to them 3. What purifies us Peterson looks at how leaders should respond to false teaching, both in teachings and behaviour.

Peterson looks at patterns of ministry which should be encouraged, and which show that ministry is not dependant on the minister. He looks at the importance of encouraging the older men and women in the congregation. Peterson then looks at how to encourage the younger women and men.

Peterson looks at the importance of living in such a way that the gospel and Christianity is seen as powerful and relevant. He looks at what our motivation should be from Titus 2. Peterson looks at Jesus to pay the ransom price for us, and that this should be our motivation. He shows that we must always have confidence in the gospel. Peterson looks at the importance of, and how to be self controlled. He stresses that we must not be embarressed by the gospel.

Sermon 1 Jensen looks at what happens when the world does not seem to be going well. He looks at the longing to be with the Lord, to be a doorkeeper in the Lord's house.,

Jensen speaks on the poor from Proverbs 29:7. He looks at how we do or don't show concern for the poor and weak, with comments on current issues around retail and housing. Jensen explains that God made the poor, and thus being kind to the poor is honouring to God. He looks at the suffering of the poor as we can not work out what to do.
