In Folder: Chapman, John, 1930-2012.
Chapman shows that Jesus death and resurrection go together and are at the heart of Christianity. He looks at what this teaches us about the future. Chapman explains that, for detailed information, the Bible, and specifically the gospels, are the primary sources. He explains that they need to investigate for themselves. Chapman details the accounts, stressing the evidence, especially the eye witnesses. Chapman looks at what the bible says about death. He looks at the postition of fear within the bible because of death and judgement. Chapman explains that Jesus is the only one who has defeated death, and that he is the only one who can save us from death, including that Jesus is the judge. Chapman explains that surrendering to Jesus enhances life rather than limiting it. He then makes a call to repent. Sydney University Mission
