Foord speaks on the need for elderly Christians to maintain their passion for Christ until their death. He stresses that finishing in Christ is what matters. 1. Look at God's heroes/winners - the great cloud of witnesses. Faith must have an object - God is reliable and trustworthy. Nothing can separate us from God 2. Look at yourself and assess honestly. Continue to be sanctified and keep trusting. The small changes can make a big difference. 3. Keep running, persevere, whilst seeking assistance from God.
