Chapman explores what it means to have a life worthy of the Gospel of Christ, and that this should be done within a congregrational setting. He shows that unity and courage in the face of danger both commend the gospel. Chapman stresses the importance of proper teaching, and that in order to do this we must know the truth. He shows that the role of temptation is for them to be rebuffed, and to strengthen us. Chapman speaks on death and life after death from Philippians 1:12ff. He looks at two reasons for rejoicing even when facing death. 1. Christ is preached 2. He reflects on life after death

Chapman shows that we must not look for heaven on earth. He looks at the assurance that we have of life after death from 1 Corinthians 15:50-58. Chapman looks at the resurrection from the body. He shows that Jesus has won the victory over death, and that we should be living in light of this. 2. There will be a miraculous change.
