Shead speaks on music in cathedrals in the early 16th Century. He looks at how Cranmer removed this style of music from the prayer book. Shead then explores the impact of Luther on music which were written in this period, as Luther's students used music to share the gospel. Shead explores the intersection between Cranmer and theology with politics. Shead looks at the use of metrical psalms both in church services and in homes. He explores the interaction between music and the prayer book.

Jensen opens the service. Ruth from on the Prayer Book Society, who sponsored the event. Bale Null gives an overview of Cranmer's life, personality and theology. He looks at Cranmer's conduct, especially his willingness to forgive his enemies when they were trying to kill him. Null expounds Cranmer's liturgy. Null explains that the transformed human heart is the heart of hope for humans, because the will and mind are governed by the heart. He looks at how the sinful heart taints everything else.
