Manchester speaks on 2 Corinthians 5:1-10. He shows that we must use the past to make sense of the present, to explain our bodies becoming new, as a tent becomes a building. Manchester shows that to understand this we must understand the transition from a tent to a temple. The reasons we have for this include the Empty tomb, Promises of Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. Manchester explores the life of a Christian including assurance, groaning, physical ressurection, and confidence. He explains how this confidence in the gospel reshapes life and death. Manchester explains the step from death to life, obedience to Jesus - living out our faith, and groaning for the new creation., Cassette label reads : "St Thomas' Anglican Church The surpassing glory 4.
