'This stone was laid by the Rev. W. Cunliffe Jones, secretary of the NSW Congregational Union, 7th October, 1903', Digitised from a positive photographic print.

Manuscript note: 'The proclamation of Orange as a town (or village) was in Nov. 1846 & it is probable this church service coincided with that event. I believe somewhere in the records it gives Rev. Tingcombe as the officiating clergyman, he was stationed at Carcoar at that time'., Digitised from a positive photographic print.
