Manchester looks at ministry to believers, and is not restricted to our time at church. God's mercies impact our ministries. He challenges the audience to think rightly about ourselves, and that people mainly base this on primary school experiences where they are told we are fantastic and can be anything. Manchester explains that thinking of ourselves humbly will enable us to appreciate others. He explores the use of gifts, both those who are not/incorrectly using their gifts, especially speaking gifts and serving gifts. Manchester stresses what our motivation and attitude to service should be., Cassette label reads : "Ministry on its feet (Romans 12:3-13) Simon Manchester 1998 KEC tape 822

Manchester expounds Romans 12. He compares the unbeliever's gospel with the believer's gospel. He summarises Romans as 1-11 gospel explanation and 12-onwards gospel implication. Manchester looks at how others have read Romans. He compares a dying church and a living church. Life lived towards God - should be our priority. He wants our bodies, as he has been sacrificed for us. Our lives are our real worship. Life lived towards believers - living in the context of eternity. Life lived towards unbelievers - don't conform to the world, have new frontierness. We must always think 'what does the gospel say about this?', Cassette label reads : "Worship on it's feet (Romans 12:1-2) 1998 KEC Simon Manchester"
