Poulos examines 1 Peter and the importance of seeing the big picture. He looks at the big picture that comes from knowing Christ in contrast to the big picture that comes from the world. Poulos explores the challenge of materialism that they don't have an answer to how/when/why the world started. He shows that the bigger question is what happened before the world began and that people deliberately forget to ask this question. Poulos shows that creation shows that God is there, but that people choose to look at creation to argue God is not there. He reminds the audience of the big picture, and Peter's desire to remind people of the word of God. Speaker shows that God and his word are reliable, and thus this is better than looking around, and reminds them that we must number our days. Poulos looks at the delay in Christ's return, and God's patience. He shows that the Day of Judgement will come, and that there will be a day of rescue, into a New Creation., Cassette label reads : "Uncertain creation and certain Word (2 Peter 3) Archie Poulos 2000 KEC tape 983"
