He shows that Jesus is the only one who is truly perfect, both as Son of God and as Priest, and thus that the only way we can made made perfect is through Jesus. O'Brien shows that our perfection was destroyed by sin, and that the sacrifical system and priesthood could never do this.

He examines why Jesus is the perfect priest that was need. O'Brien looks at the fulfillment of this perfection, and the assurance we have of getting there.
