Woodhouse speaks on the role of power in the Christian life, and how it is taught in the Bible. He looks at the relationship between power and weakness, and that power is found in Christ's weakness. He then examines the importance of recognising God's power, and that this should shape our prayers. Woodhouse explores what it means to seek the things above, and that this is what you are to do if you have been raised with Christ. Woodhouse looks at the power of and in the Christian life from Colossians 3. He focuses on the power of Christ's death. Woodhouse explains that this should make Christ the thing/person who shapes our lives. He looks at the importance of regular, daily bible reading and prayer. Woodhouse explains that that new life can not be added to our old lives, but instead must replace it.
