Luke 2:10-11 'And the angel said unto them, Fear not; for behold, I bringyou, good tidings of great Joy, which shall be to all people' Theme: The Celebration of the Birth of Christ. Outlines the events surrounding the birth of Christ with reference to the prophecies leading up to the event. Concludes with a warning to those who gratify their'carnal lusts' and praise of those who embrace Jesus. 8pp., complete
Psalm 118:27-28 'God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light...' Theme: Sacrifices to God. Describes the method by which the congregation should surrender themselves to God because faith will ease suffering and ensure a peaceful after life. Uses the words of David to convey the greatness of God. 10pp., complete.
Psalm 9:17 'The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.' Theme: Consequences of sinfulness. Outlines who the wicked are and what is to be their final doom. Highlights the consequences of indifference toward eternal interests. 6pp., complete., water mark 1796

I John 3:2 'Beloved now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be...' Theme: The State of Believers. A description of the present and future state of believers. Concludes with a discussion on the difference between believers and non-believers. 6pp., unfinished, incomplete.
Luke 23:42-43 'And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.' Theme: Judgement Day. Considers the 'Thiefs Peitition' for Christ's mercy and the Lords answer in granting him the petition. Concludes by bringing attention to the approaching 'Day of Reckoning' and its resulting judgement. Outer page is related to the Sabbath, and the congregations 'improper state'. St Paul's Epistle Theme: Objects of Divine favour. Provides a description of types of men ie. the godly and the ungodly, and their places of destination ie. Heaven or hell. Concludes with an exposition on the blessed-ness of the Godly. 10pp., incomplete.
Micah 7:18-20 'Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delightethin mercy...' Theme: Forgiveness. Considers the divine mercy of God towards sinners, in its rise, progress and consumation. Concludes with an exposition on the fate of those who do not believe in God. 12pp., complete.
Mathew 25:33-36 '...Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world...' Theme: Eternity. Consideration and explanation of the happiness experienced with the knowledge that a future state exists, and the rewards and punishments to be experienced in that State. Concludes with an exhortation on the experiences of sinners and believers after death. 13pp., complete.
Mark 13:37 'What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch!' Theme: Judgement Day. Analyses how God speaks through calamities to awaken the conscience through consideration of the uncertainty of the time when God will come to judgement and the duty arising from this uncertainty. 10pp., complete.
