Kapic looks at how the Spirit changes us when we came to Christ, and what does not change. He shows that our faith rests on trust in the person of Christ - involves both receiving and responding. Kapic shows that the Holy Spirit is how we are able to live a believing life and recognise God as our Father.

Kapic introduces the series, which is a theology of Christian life. He will be exploring the idea that Christian life is a response to the love of God. 1. God is love 2. Creation is the overflow of God's love 3. The purpose of creation, with humanity in the centre, is the reflection of God's love, known as shalom 4. Sin is what disrtupts and disorders love, in particular how this affects communion 5. The incarnate son is both the embodiment and object of divine love 6. Loving the incarnate Christ necessarily means loving God and his creation In this talk he gives an overview of points 1-4.

Kapic explains that, to have a theology of Christian life, we must recognise that God is creator, sustainer and redeemer. He looks at how sin affects our ability to do this. Kapic shows that we can not belittle either God's creator, or the problem of sin. 2. A faithful and loving mediator - from Athanasius and Revelation 5 in response to Aryanism. Kapic explores why the incarnation is essential and can not be played down. He shows that the incarnation is why we can prayer not only through the Son but also to the Son. Kapic explains that we must love Christ to love both God and creation. He gives 6 points to explain this. Kapic looks at our motivation for loving others, especially other believers. He shows that, if we love God, we must love the things that God loves. Kapic explains that we should never confuse God with the gifts that he has given us. Kapic examines the difference between loving too much and not loving well. He shows that Jesus is the centre of love, and thus we can delight in his gifts. Talk is followed by questions.

Kapic explains that the church's holiness depends on God. He explains that recognising our own holiness needs belief because of our failure to be different. Kapic looks at whether or not we need the church to have a theology of the Christian life. He explains that the community is more important than the individuals. He explains that the destruction of the church is never needed, although may at times need renewal and/or reformation. Kapic explains that the entire church is needed to be the body of Christ, it can not be done by one individual. He explains that we need to have both belief and practise, not one or the other. Kapic looks at Jesus as the embodiment and object of divine love. He explores what Augustine says about love - that there is the lover, the object of love, and love itself. He explores the triune nature of God. Kapic explains that we need to have God in order to have ethics. Kapic explains that God never ceases to be love loving. He shows that God is the origin of love, and that all love points back to him. Kapic then moves on to discussing sin, and it's power to disrupt love and damage the relationships which operate around love. Talk is followed by questions.
